EntroPay - Over A Decade of Online Payments
EntroPay is an e-wallet system launched in 2003. Offering a secure and convenient payment solution, EntroPay can be used in online establishments that accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, or EntroPay. EntroPay uses may also use the system for making payments or purchases over the phone.
EntroPay is owned and operated by Ixaris Systems Ltd., which is based in Malta. Licensed to operate by the Financial Conduct Authority, Ixaris operates under the 2009 Payment Service Regulations.
EntroPay is billed as the first virtual prepaid card in Europe. It was established with the goal of providing a payment method that does away with the inconveniences typically associated with making payments online. EntroPay is accepted as a payment method by millions of online merchants from all over the world.
How Does EntroPay Work?
Signing up for an EntroPay account entitles you to a virtual VISA Card. This is a prepaid onscreen card that can be funded and used repeatedly for a wide range of online transactions. It can be used in online merchant sites and online casinos that accept EntroPay as a payment option. It can also be used in sites that accept Visa payment and deposits, even if they do not necessarily support the EntroPay payment system.
EntroPay customers can register up to 30 virtual Visa cards. Keep in mind however that some casinos will restrict you to using the same card for making deposits and withdrawals (details in the “Making a withdrawal from EntroPay” section below).

How to Create an EntroPay Account
Creating an EntroPay account is easy and there are no fees charged. Furthermore, an EntroPay account automatically comes with an EntroPay virtual Visa card, which provides you with even more payment and deposit options.
To sign up for an EntroPay account:
- Go to the EntroPay “sign-up” page.
- Fill up the online form with your name, user name, date of birth, email address, and password.
- Select your country of residence.
- Confirm your registration.
Your EntroPay is then ready for funding.
Funding Your EntroPay Account / Making A Transfer to A Casino Account
EntroPay accounts can be funded via the following:
- Credit card or debit card
- Bank account transfer
After you have funded your EntroPay account, you can make a deposit into an online casino account via the following process:
- Go to the casino’s “deposits” page.
- Select “EntroPay” as the deposit method.
- Provide details of your EntroPay account.
- Specify the amount you wish to deposit.
- Confirm the transaction.
If you have an EntroPay virtual Visa card, you can use it in pretty much the same way as you withdrawal any other Visa card. If the casino in which you wish to play does not support EntroPay, you may still be able to deposit into an account by selecting “Visa” as the payment option in the “deposits” page.
Making a Withdrawal From EntroPay
Making a withdrawal from an online casino account via EntroPay is as easy as making a deposit.
- Go to the casino’s “cash out” page.
- Select “EntroPay” as the withdrawal option.
- Provide details of your EntroPay account.
- Specify the amount you wish to withdraw.
- Confirm the transaction.
Keep in mind that funds may be withdrawn into an EntroPay account only if you have made a purchase or deposit using EntroPay within the previous 12 months. Withdrawn funds are also automatically credited back to the same EntroPay account from which you have made the deposit, and always in the same currency.
The same restriction applies to the EntroPay virtual Visa card, in that you may only withdraw funds into the same card that you used to make your previous deposit. This is an especially important detail to remember as EntroPay allows users to register up to 30 virtual Visa cards if they wish.
Security and Privacy of Your Personal Information
All transactions performed via EntroPay are protected by 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) system, ensuring total confidentiality and user security. No customer information – whether personal or banking – is ever shared with any unauthorized party, and receiving parties receive only details associated with the EntroPay account.
