6. Cookies & Analytics

a. Cookies

The Site uses cookies. A cookie is a short code that the Site puts on your computer when you access it. Cookies enable us to distinguish between different users of the Site. 8. Your Rights under Data Protection Laws

This clause notifies you of your rights with regard to your personal information under data protection laws.

a. Access to your personal data: You have the right to access your personal data stored by the Site. We shall comply with any reasonable request made by you in this regard. If your access request involves a large amount of effort at our end, we reserve the right to charge a fee to cover the costs as provided under the applicable law.

b. Correction of your personal data: You have the right to augment incomplete data or correct any inaccurate data we hold about you. We could ask for documents to verify the correctness of the new information provided by you.

c. Deletion of your personal data: You have the right to ask us to delete any personal data that we hold about you in the following conditions.

  • You can ask us to remove personal data from our records if there is no reason for the Site to continue holding or processing such information.
  • You can also ask us to delete all your personal data held at the Site. We would then require you to close your account with us.

In either of the above cases, we may be subject to legal requirements that do not allow us to immediately delete part or all of your personal data in our records. Under legislation like Anti-Money Laundering laws we are required to retain the data for specified periods. However, we will process your request to delete personal information from our records as soon as the applicable data retention period expires.

d. Objection to processing of personal data:

  • You have a right to object to our processing of personal data even when we, or our designated third party, have a legitimate interest in doing so. e. Restrict processing your personal data: You have the right to ask us to suspend processing your personal data in the following circumstances.

  • When the processing is not as per law, but you do not want the Site to immediately delete the data.

9. Protection of Minors
